Ingrebourne Valley

The southern part of the Ingrebourne Valley, sandwiched between the built-up areas of Hornchuch and Rainham, has at its centre a prime wildlife site, the Ingrebourne Marshes SSSI, next to the former RAF Hornchurch, now a countryn park, and surrounded by a number of areas of former landfill that have been landscaped. It is already a superb area for wildlife and can only get better.
